Special thanks to :

KENNETH CLOKE
PhD Founder and first President of Mediators Beyond Borders, Director of the Center for Dispute Resolution, author of numerous books, Teacher at Pepperdine University School of Law teacher and world-recognized mediator with more than 40 years of experience. His wisdom and the material that he has generously shared with us has played a major influence in the creation of our peace education programs. We recommend all literature from Mr. Cloke and his partner Joan Goldsmith, as we believe it combines the science, the wisdom and the humanity our expertise in resolving conflicts desperately needs. Cloke believes that a good mediator is ideally also a peace activist and a nature activist. After writing about dangerously mediating, Cloke has embraced the poetry, the metaphors and the subtle questions one must ask to encourage all stakeholders to open their heart. We have had the privilege to read his most recent work “The magic of mediation” to be published later this year.

We also thank David Hoffman, Susan Spodziba, Larry Susskind, Benoit Rioux, Mari Fitzduff, Jean-Francois Chabot. Celia Lillo, and all the great mediators out there who teach others. We thank those who follow their hearts and have the courage to be omnipartial when it comes to appease those who suffer within conflict.
